Every year, we come together as an outdoor-loving family to get inspired and motivated. Intimate yet inclusive, the laid back vibe of our festival is a direct reflection of its birthplace, the Carbondale community. Founded in 2007 by Julie Kennedy, the 5point Adventure Film Festival showcases curated, soulful outdoor films, art, and performances—all shown in one common space. Everyone watches together, bonded in a shared emotional experience and returns home feeling full of motivation, creativity and perspective.

Imagine 1,000 ping pong balls being dropped from a Fire Ladder truck onto targets at Sopris Park in downtown Carbondale! It's all happening on May 3rd!
Get ready for the second annual Fireball Drop, brought to you by Ace Hardware of Carbondale and benefiting Carbondale Rotary! Purchase adoption tickets for only $20 apiece for a chance to win the grand prize of $5,000!
Look for tickets for sale from our Rotarians and Mt. Sopris Rotary Club and City Market Carbondale outside Ace Hardware in Carbondale at select times and through our youth non-profit partners, Ascendigo, Roaring Fork Soccer Club and YouthZone!

Come celebrate First Friday on May 3rd, 5-9pm. Stroll Main Street in the heart of Carbondale’s Creative District and enjoy a wide range of local arts, galleries, shopping, award-winning restaurants & spirits, live music and entertainment.

Family Block Party: 4-8pm | Pride Parade: 5:30pm
The Family Block Party kicks off at 4pm at the 4th Street Plaza with live music, family-friendly activities, local eats and a beer/spirit tent. 100% of event proceeds benefit local youth and family education/programming, and our local animal shelter.

Annual Dandelion Day festival was started by Carbondale’s Environmental Board. Dandelion Day is a celebration of spring, sustainability, and community.
