2019 First Friday Artisan & Farmers’ Market
Friday, June 7, 5:30pm-8:30pm | Friday, July 5, 5:30pm-8:30pm | Friday, August 2, 5:30pm-8:30pm
The Market will be located on Main Street in the zone between 3rd Street and Weant Blvd. Set-up begins promptly at 5:00pm upon close of Main St. Spaces will be designated in 10’x10’. The Market will officially open at 5:30pm and close at 8:30pm. Tear-down from 8:30pm-8:50pm. Main Street MUST be cleared of vendor tents, tables and materials by 9:00pm, upon the re-opening of Main Street to vehicle traffic. This market welcomes vendors selling self-grown or crafted products, who are members of the Carbondale Chamber of Commerce and/or the Carbondale Creative District. Please, no food trucks or food purveyors (so as not to compete with Main Street businesses). All vendors must possess a valid Town of Carbondale sales tax license.
Please fill out the following market application and return (via email, or in person), along with space fee (check payable to First Friday Committee), to Katie at the Carbondale Chamber.
Application & fee due dates:
– For June Market or 3-month bundle, submit application by Friday May 24
– For July Market, submit application by Thursday June 27
– For August Market, submit application by Thursday July 25
10’ x 10’ spaces will be assigned upon application approval. Please note, vendors are responsible for providing their own tent, tables, sign/banner, chairs, trash bags, etc. Please be prepared with sandbags/weights to secure your tent and materials, goods, art, in case of windy conditions.
